We have previously worked to coordinate the mechanical and electrical services on a number of CNU projects across the country.
Our hands-on, solutions based role involved representing our clients in BIM meetings right throughout the projects in order to ensure they achieved services models which were fully coordinated, accessible and maintainable as well as being efficient to build.
When the projects moved towards 2nd fix, we represented our clients on site by carrying out Point Cloud Surveys of the 1st fix installations. These were used to bring the above ceiling services to a graphically ‘as built’ state in the Revit models.
Together with the input of COBie, the client were assured of receiving models which are accurate – both graphically and non-graphically – at handover that can then be depended upon into the future for reliable facilities and asset management.
